Just a couple of cute one's...

While enjoying a nice family dinner Tate decided trying to balance his bread on his head would be much more fun than eating! Luckily my camera was right nearby...

First Day!

Today was Tate's first day at Country Junction Preschool here in Snoqualmie. We attended an open house last week where Tate had the best time playing in the classroom so this morning he was very excited. When we arrived, he said, "hold my hand mommy" as we walked from the car to the building, but had the biggest smile on his face. When we entered the classroom he walked right in without looking back. When I picked him up he came running with the biggest smile and gave me a huge hug...the best feeling ever! He gave his teacher a big hug goodbye then walked up to every single classmate and said "good-bye, see you later"...it was so darn cute! On the way home he said, "I had fun, I LOVE school". I hope he still feels this way when he's 16!

Tate wanted to get a little yard work in before school...good way to start the day.

This was too funny, all the boys ran straight for the pink doll house...I guess they hadn't seen anything like it before!

OHIO

This past week we traveled to Todd's hometown of Pataskala, Ohio for his sister Kristi's wedding. The wedding was beautiful but we really loved the time we spent with Todd's parents, sister's families and our nieces and nephews.

Tate and Peppy the cat! I have never seen Tate like this with an animal but he was in love with Peppy all week. He was so gentle and loving with him...I have a feeling someone will be asking for a kitten at some point.

Our adorable niece Claire

Three generations of Millers!

The rehearsal

Tate and our niece Ellie. He did amazing at rehearsal...he loved it!

Come showtime...not so much. He froze at the end of the isle grasping to Todd who carried him up the isle as he covered his face with his pillow. It was cute and he got a huge "awwww" from the crowd.

Groom Ian and our nephews Brandon and Gabe

Flower girls - nieces Ellie, Claire and Riley

Once a cheerleader always a cheerleader!

Remlinger Farms

This summer we discovered Remlinger Farms and spent the day there several times. The family fun park closes during weekdays at the end of summer so I made sure to bring my camera on our last outing.

5 Years!

We celebrated our five year anniversary last night over dinner at the Salish Lodge. Since my parents graciously had Tate at their place for an overnight, we decided to live it up and hit the Snoqualmie Casino after (our first time there). Todd won $80.00 at the blackjack table - woot woot!

Dinner and the view was amazing but the company was the best part. Todd, I love you so much, Happy Anniversary and thank-you for the best five years of my life!

Wee WAC's

For the past year, one or two morning per week, Tate has been attending the Washington Athletic Club's daycare called Wee WAC's.

Wee WAC's is not the typical gym daycare. They spend time doing crafts, art projects, reading, singing, playing games, taking the kids to the gym for activities. The staff is amazing and two of the teachers are guys - perfect for all the little boys with a ton of energy who look forward to gym time. They also have special programs every now and then, one week they had "Boot Camp" and filled the gym with bouncy houses and obstacle courses. The class description said, "this isn't your mommy's boot camp". Another day Tate took a class called "Cooking with Mr. Kyle".

With our move to Snoqualmie and Tate starting pre-school next week close to our house, Tate and I have cancelled our WAC membership. I dropped Tate off at Wee WAC's this Tuesday for his last day and the manager Miss Shawn told me they had something special planned for his last day. They had ordered cupcakes and were going to be doing all Tate's favorite activities.

These guys have had such a positive influence on Tate we will miss them so much!

Getting ready for cupcakes!
