Rain Rain Go Away!

Tate woke up at 6:00am asking to go to Carkeek Park. It was pouring outside. I suggested the Aquarium, The Science Center even the Toy Store but he practically was chanting "Car-keek Park, Car-keek Park". I decided to buck it up and bundle us up and head to the park. We did it all...we hiked through the woods, which was actually nice since the trees provided cover, collected sea shells, threw rocks in the ocean, Tate even insisted on swinging...all in the pouring rain! Tate would have stayed much longer but after an hour I bribed him with bubbles to get him home.

Bunny Bounce

Yesterday we headed to the Annual Bunny Bounce at the Woodland Park Zoo. It was our first time attending and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. We arrived as the gates opened and went straight for the toddler egg hunt area. The ground was covered with eggs and as fast as kids could pick them up, volunteers were coming around sprinkling more eggs on the ground. There was definitely no shortage in eggs. Tate walked in, picked up one egg, looked at us and said, "I go see the animals now". We asked, "are you sure, don't you want to find some Easter eggs first"? "No", Tate quickly replied while walking past us out of the egg hunt area. So we spent the entire morning at the zoo before the crowds were too bad and later met up with Tate's special friend Harriet, our neighbor from our old house and played together for awhile in the play area. It was a great day!

Easter Week

My friend Meghan is brave! She invite our Monday playgroup to her place this week so the kids could dye eggs. They had a blast and made a mess, nothing permanent thank-goodness.

Tate was really into mixing the colors and
was the first kiddo to knock over a cup of dye.
Olivia liked tossing the eggs into the cups.
Sedona was the model toddler on this project,
she took her time and was so careful!
All the kids at work.
Tate and JJ, just two boys at the bar enjoying an after egg dying snack.

Dr. Miller is in the House

Our friends The Gordon's came over for dinner last Saturday. Roslyn, is three months older than Tate and we've been having get-together's ever since Tate was a few weeks old. It is so cute watching the kiddos really start to play with each other. They kept sneaking into the other room and "talking". I snuck up on them and caught this adorable picture.

Here is a flash-back picture of Tate, Roslyn and Brody when they were 4-5 months old.

Good-Bye Ballard!

Our house closed this last weekend! Our furniture was moved out on Thursday into storage and we moved into a rental home on Phinney Ridge while we look for a new home. The last night in our house Todd had to work late so Tate and I ordered pizza and ate it on our basement floor, with just paper plates and plastic utensils. Tate had a ball riding his little push car all around the basement and "helping" mommy do last minute cleaning. It was the perfect last night.

Hello Handsome...

SOLD!

We did it!! We sold our Ballard home!
Todd and I bought this house a month before we got married and it was where we brought Tate home from the hospital. We have so many wonderful memories and are excited for our next adventure!

Play Date with Cameron

Tate was not cooperating for the photographers but I had to share a picture of Tate and super cute Cameron (10 months). Cameron's mommy Susie and I have been friends since freshman year in High School!

We had our friends The Lelund's and Lewis's over for dinner last night and I was able to get this great picture of Tate and his buddies JJ and Olivia.
