Sad Day

With the kind of BOY I have I should have known our time was coming. We had our first major injury this week. Tate slipped on a step stool right next to me in the kitchen and hit his mouth on the way down. His top tooth was knocked completely forward out of place. The dentist says it has a 40% chance of survival but a more likely chance it will fall out on it's own or become infected and have to be pulled. It's been a rough few days for us while Tate adjusts to cutting the pacifier cold turkey which he used to depend on for sleeping and eating only soft foods but he isn't in any pain thank-goodness and has been in great spirits.

Suncadia

This weekend The Millers headed across the Snoqualmie Pass to Suncadia Resort for a few days away. We went on hikes through the snow, swam in the indoor pool, hung out in a hot tub outside in the snow and spent a good portion of the time relaxing in the room infront of the fire. We hope to come back when Tate is a little older and can participate in some other activities like ice skating, inner tubing and cross country skiing. I didn't get great pictures but this will give you an idea...

Enjoying a lazy Sunday morning with room service of pancakes and bacon...in front of the warm fire...while watching Yo Gabba Gabba on the iPad...life is good!

Tate was fascinated with the outdoors fire pit...he threw snowballs in it one night for about an hour.

The snow was a several days old and frozen. Tate was so light he could walk right on top of the snow, Todd chasing him was sinking and having a hard time catching him.

Great view from out room.

A Man Who Knows What He Wants

I'm guilty of buying my child a treat from the bakery during most grocery runs. It makes for a very peaceful shopping experience. Usually just a small cookie but today the St. Patty's Day doughnuts caught his eye and I figured why not...

He ate just the frosting off and declared "all done mommy"...
